What is Magazine RDA?

Retail Display Allowance (RDA) is an additional payment available to magazine retailers, provided that you have signed contracts, and submit quarterly claim forms. Most R.D.A. payments are 10% of cover price or a pocket payment. Since not all titles pay and some pay less than 10%, your R.D.A. payments should be between 5 & 8 percent of your yearly magazine sales at cover price.

Approximately 80% of newsstand publications offer a R.D.A. program. Without the knowledge of title availability within each publisher and national distributor, you the retailer, are not securing the revenue that you are entitled to.
